Good day everyone.
This weeks post might be a bit shorter or so as I caught a cold that has me more in its grip than I would love to. Also a reason why I can’t deliver on last weeks promise of some updates on the Studio stuff downstairs, wanted to do that Friday and yesterday, but I will come.

I am not sure, but I think there was no Show we watched this week, and as I am writing it I just remembered that we actually finally caught up on Luther. We weren’t sure where we had stopped at some point and basically went back and watched Season 4, 5 and then the Movie. I just love Luther. The movie was more SoSo in direct comparison, but its sets up some stuff maybe, so there is that.
Murder Mystery 2 was a silly as the first one, but you know as far as silly movies go I enjoyed it. Dungeons & Dragons - Honor Among Thieves was certainly the breakout Star this week. In essence a comedy in a D&D world with lots of nice details from the games so everyone vaguely familiar with D&D has some small little fan moments. Fun light action and I would watch a couple more Films in a Series of these. Really makes me miss playing D&D. And A Man Called Otto was the tear jerker I thought it would be. Tom Hanks is great as ever and the rest of the cast was just so so lovely. Beautiful Film. Might give the original a chance sometime, too.
Thanks to the Holiday there was no Pottery this week. And if I am really unlucky no Pottery this coming week either due to this effing cold.
I did finally finish Stephensons Termination Shock. I love his Books, even those I do not enjoy as much and maybe it is nowadays one of those things that also pulls me more to lighter Movies, but his more thriller leaning Books are just a blast. Then, after so many recommendations and raving reviews I start I’d give myself a creative spiritual injection with Rick Rubins The Creative Act - A Way of Being. I am like one hour 45 into the Audiobook that is read by Rubin himself and there might be one of ther Problems I have with it right now. His reading is to… ready?! If that makes sense. Also so far, and it is too far imho, it is. just a very simple collection of very basic stuff any youtube creative coach or life coachy type will throw at you within two minutes. It’s like it is 30 years to late to be hitting where it should maybe. Nowadays more common sense than anything else. I might come back to it at some point, but for now it’s going to the bottom of my Book stack that is waiting for me.

And call is a filler or so, I had, I think last week finally gotten my SX-70 out and shot the last Film that was in it since it was gifted to me by a good friend and fellow artist. Luckily I had Pack of black and white Polaroid Film so I can proudly present you two AMAAAAZING Selfportraits… yeah I know… I can’t believe it myself.
I would love to fall on the couch now and get rid of this cold by extreme laziness, but I need prep a few things for the Electrician tomorrow. Progress is good though.
