Hope everyones week was at least acceptable. It might sound negative, but I am wondering how to include as many people as possible with such broad phrases and (I’ve been trying doing little good morning videos on on my Art Twitter account for a bit) be inclusive. Probably overthinking this, but people are in very different situations in life and I am not sure a lot of my thinking come from a very privileged way of living and thinking. So can a phrase like “Have a fun day!” be kinda dumb?! Maybe even in general, but I just wanted to find an easy example. Anyway… let’s get this thing started.
The Photo Post this week is the second to last post in the Italy Trip series. I did think about putting them all together in one last big one, but I am never sure how much people actually can take in terms of mass of photos. I personally love going through tons and tons of photos on peoples blogs, but most people just don’t post that much… “less is more” yeah yeah bla bla STFU.
Podcasts and Livestreams are staying kinda the same right now, even-though as I mentioned in one of the previous Weaklys, it sometimes hard to decide what get the Podcast Slot and what falls into the Youtube Slot. Also not that Important I think.

This week really kinda flew by again, got a good bunch of things done and finally got some streams in again. Had some weird issues setting up and on problem I seem to have had even before I moved everything. Most of it got resolved, but one problem is annoying still happening and the reason why I am streaming on Twitch instead of Youtube. I hope I find out why this is happening. The Problem is, that the stream looks fine, but the camera that is on me gets super soft on the Youtube stream. Not on Twitch though and that boggles my mind. It could be somehow connected to the bitrate, but why is it just that one source? And only on one platform? I am just happy the the Twitch Streams look good for now, the rest will get sorted out hopefully.
My other Computer/Tech problem that I have with my Windows PC is that I cannot get any speeds over round about 100 Mbps. I have gone through every info I could find, played with all the settings and so on. And before you tell me to check my Cable, or the Motherboard, I have. The next thing I need to do is to get an Ethernet Dongle for my Macbook Pro to test the rest, on Wifi I get the full speed, and it is not as “low” as on the PC via Ethernet. As I am writing this I just had an idea, I could try and it maybe with my PS5. Not many options in terms of settings and tests to run on it, but it would be a quick one. Annoying stuff.
What did we watch this week?
A bit more One Piece, finished Secret Invasion, which I am not really sure about. A fantastic cast, the same Disney/Marvel low-budget feels as some of the shows have, but I really feel the biggest Problem in general with Marvel is that Feige is not able to keep his eye and touch over everything and the suits get in the way too often. That kinda messes shit up. Secret Invasion wasn’t a complete shit show, but it also wasn’t great. Even-though Olivia Fucking Colman is in it and IMHO the best thing about the whole Show. Ah well. If you have nothing else to watch, add it to your watchlist, a good counter example is Loki though, or Wanda Vision. Those had so much more Vision, no pun intended, but also it felt like those where made with passion. Not just some thrown together money maker.
Talking about Marvel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is finally on Disney+ and that in contrast to Secret Invasion was glorious. Gunn really has his shit together and the Guardians Series just is such a great combo of action, fun and heart.
Of course we had some Triple D in there, but nothing much else.
Oh of course… White Lotus season one. Finally. And so far it is everything I heard it would be.
Coming back to Fusion360 and building stuff for 3D Printing. I have a little Project I got kinda pointed to by a friend. In Street Art Circles Stickers and posting Stickers around Cities and so on is a common thing. Even-though using Stickers that aren’t too hard to remove is nice thing to do, you don’t always want them removed instantly. So putting them somewhere where its a bit harder to reach is a good idea. I saw someone on IG using one of the old school extendable pointer thingies our teachers had in school with a bit of plastic attached used to apply Stickers in hard to reach places.
So I ordered a pair on Amazon and started prototyping. I am not 100% there yet, I should have the fitting right by now, but I want this thing to attach snuggly without using a fastener or glue or something, so it can be taken off also. If its for transport only.
A few Problems so far that I still need to work on. For one I think I’m going for heat fitting those to together instead of pressure fitting or using glue. The other is stability, Not that there will be much strain on the part while using it for its purpose, but it would be nice for it not to break when its in your bag or whatever.
So design and the printing alignment both have a lot to do with stability in 3D printing and especially with FDM printers. So lets see if I can figure this out the way I am going about it right now or what changes I will have to do. Fun stuff.
Nothing crazy food wise this week. We made some Pizza. Yes yes, again. Did not have my regular flour so we tried some other one we had here. Its turned out well, but different. The thing I mentioned before about the chewiness of the dough I was seeking for my pizza dough just didn’t work with this flour. Which is interesting as I even kneaded the dough for longer than I normally do. It was so much softer than then it normally is. But tasty and did rise well in the oven. Didn’t turn out the roundest, but I do struggle with that from time to time. And the softer the dough the harder it is for me.
