THE WEAKLY 032

The Weakly number thirty two.

Welcome friends, foes and people with ugly toes.

How was your week visitor?! Hope it was all well and still is.
The weather still is up and down with lots of rain here in and around Cologne. I really need more sun. Constantly. Maybe we’ll get nice late summer still.

This week we finally finished the series of photos from our Tuscanny trip a couple years ago. It took seven Posts, but we made it and you can CLICK HERE or the photo below to get to it.

Podcasts and Livestreams are staying kinda the same right now, even-though as I mentioned in one of the previous Weaklys, it sometimes hard to decide what get the Podcast Slot and what falls into the Youtube Slot. Also not that Important I think.

Youtube Random Selection:

I still have the network speed problem with my PC that I have had for a while, also I did not work on the problem at all, hopefully will do in this coming week. As I am in the privileged position to also have my Laptop next to me at all times, Streaming and watching stuff all the time and all that does not really produce any network problem for me, even when I stream or do anything that eats up a lot of bandwidth. Lets see how that goes.

What did we watch this week?
A bit more One Piece again, but not that much more. Triple D, but that was it not even sure why, also not that important. I finally spent my last four Audible credits I had left and I am very much looking forward to get into all these books. Will keep you updated on what I am getting into next.
We did finally get to watch Across the Spiderverse though and I loved it as much as I love the first one. Such a good Film and as with the first one the whole amazing and impressive art-styles and the work that went into it all plays into my fondness for the Films. If you haven’t watched either you are really missing out. So so inspirational. Honestly. Both these movies should be up for so many awards, as the achievement and just sheer work that went into them paired with the creativity is unmatched in my opinion, but we keep lifting the heavy broody stuff like Oppenheimer up which is laughable to me.

I did keep tinkering in Fusion 360 and it is getting a bit easier. To the point that I was actually able to design two new Frames for my Instant Photos I want to sell. The basic idea was to go a bit Art Deco with these, to have the elegance, but also the simplicity. The first once I made before are great, but kinda complex, but also not thought through, where for example the places where the nail to in when you want to hang them and so on are kinda visible from the front etc. etc..
I will redesign those at some point, but these new ones are great. Print well, but I really need to get my Elegoo Neptune 3 Plus dialled in again, as does not print as clean as it should. It always is a shame loosing prints at any point through the process, but the further in, the more it hurts. Luckily I only had one huge failure. The rest I need to go in and clean the finished print up. My smaller Neptune actually prints well at the moment. One other Problem that I will need to get to work on is Filament Storage. Filament Storage that actually is humidity controlled and that can dehumidify filament. That really is a thing that causes quite a lot of problems.

I think I am at a point with the new ones that I can actually put some pieces up in the shop soon. Also some of my older Prototypes. Then I’ll post some more detailed shots here as well.

I do not have everything back from my pottery course that me made in the past few moth, there is still some stuff that needs to be fired, but my cooking spoon/spatula holder thingy is finished and I love it. It was supposed to be really green and turned out whatever this is, but hey. You win some, you loose some, it works well I just need to get used to using it a bit.

Have a fantastic start into the next week.
stay safe out there, be kind,
T.

Also here you can find my friends post of this week with whom?(!?!?) I entered into this weekly arrangement. It will be updated as they link their posts. Some are in German btw.
