Christmas Season is here and I do not really want to how time flies in 2023 again, but dang… The Christmas Markets are up all around town, Decorations and all that Jazz. Depressing in every which way. Well nothing we can do about it besides embrace it I guess.
As for this week’s Photo Post we jump back into a little bit of Automotive goodness.
Still not a regular week in Casa Beast, but we finally caught up on, obviously, the Great British Bake Off, more importantly though the Season Finale of Bosch Legacy Season 2 and Loki Season 2.
Bosch was a solid and good Finale, nothing crazy and not one of those maddening Cliffhangers this time. Season 3 had been announced in May already so we have a that to look forward too. Loki on the other hand went super hard in the final two Episodes and as they say… “The Brightest Flame Burns Quickest” this is it I guess. Like the first Season, the second one was very well executed in my opinion, I just love the whole vibe of the Series and what and ending for such a wonderful and complex character. I think I read somewhere that Hiddleston is finished with Loki, but not finished finished. The ending is quite “final”, but does give a few hints at how it could go if they decide to continue at some point. Kang Dynasty was planned for a while to continue in the MCU, but with Jonathan Majors legal shit going on, that seems to be canceled for now. Which is a shame, but understandable, especially as it all is still very unclear. Loki is certainly a breakout Hit in my opinion. If you are one of those who are Superhero Fatigued or whatever… this is the one Show I would always implore you to watch.
Also later last night after all that I finally got to jump into the Blue Eye Samurai and boooooy oh boy wasn’t I disappointed. I had only seen a very short snipped on TikTok or something and that got me so interested. I watched the first two Episodes and it is glorious. Can’t wait to jump back in. It really is very very well made and the has a lot of potential.
Also again, when it comes to anything Comic book related my friend Jonathan has a wonderful conversation with the great Ian Kerner, as they so often had, about the second Season of Loki. If you’ve watched Season 2 I can really recommend watching it. Also catch up on many of their other Specials if you like.
Pottery Class was a bit slow again, just as I keep finishing those cups I threw and the big one, which I am very excited about, takes a bit more time than I would have thought, but there is no sense or need to rush anything. I have a couple interesting ideas of what I would love to do after the Holidays, but I am still pondering if I keep doing cups for now… just to hammer in what I am learning about throwing and all that. HAven’t decided on that right now though.
As last week, not much gaming, just some COD.
I went on a little trip last week, more of the private kind, got back my Silbersalz Negatives finally and can now start scanning those at some point hopefully. Also finished those cabinet doors I painted. Not perfect, but from a distance good enough and that ok for me, especially that cabinet is so old, it just needed a bit help to hold on a bit longer.
I feel like I am forgetting something, but I will update you on the workshop, my streaming and video setup very soon. Added some light here and there and trying to make it work as fluidly and easy as I can, just to eliminate any possible friction and possible excuses. Till then…
