THE WEAKLY 048

The Weakly number forty eight.

Welcome friends, foes and people with ugly toes.

Oh hello, didn’t see you there. Only four more weeks and we have a year of THE WEAKLY in the can. Scary. How was your week people, hope as well as it can be, with the world still and maybe even more than ever in turmoil.
And as the year comes to its end the amount of projects and things I wanted to have finished have piled up a bit and I mean, nothing new here, but a few of them I need to tend to just for my own peace of mind. Which includes two intro videos for the upcoming Patreon and Youtube Channel. Also, I have been pondering some changes for next years THE WEAKLY posts. More like tweaks and so on, but I am not really sure about those ideas yet, we might just have to try them together as we go along.

Aaaaaaanyway.

This week’s Photo Post we jump into the second part of that ol’ Porsche. And even-though my interest in the Automotive Industry has sunk to its all time low, the old stuff still holds its charm, even if it’s a Porsche.

Uhhh and we finished this Season the Great British Bake Off, a very good finale to a quite entertaining Season with a worthy and very very likeable winner. Also after starting with Blue Eye Samurai late last Saturday night, I finished the Season right the next day. It was quite the blast and even though I am not sure how I feel about the ending of the last season it was a fantastic trip and I can only recommend getting into it. And Slow Horses is finally back with Season 3 and it keeps going hard. Apple TV+ just has their shit down, that’s for sure.
For movie night we went kinda light this week, but entertaining nonetheless. First we had A Haunting In Venice. The Third in the Series of Hercule Poirot Movies by and with Kenneth Branagh and they might not be the best Movies ever made, or whatever, but I just have fun with these and I hope they keep coming. Also if I need to get hold of the old Peter Ustinov versions of Poirot. Used to watch them with my Mom when I was a wee young lad. We then went to the Pixar side of life. Elemental was a beautiful and fun, very Pixar-y Movie and thats a good thing. Nothing crazy to write home about either, but makes for good entertainment.

Not much new stuff from my Pottery Class, I finished up the stuff I had thrown and glazed most of my things, the only thing I will glaze next year is the big Plate. More of a timing thing as tomorrow will be the last Class for me because of travel and the Holidays etc… Maybe next week I can show you some results.

Nothing crazy new gaming wise. I did fiddle around with a few things for the upcoming projects, basically prepping some assets and trying designs and so on. I am not a graphic designer, but I gotta start somewhere and normally do enjoy the process. Also not much to show yet… sorry.

Also the Spotify Wrapped came around again and it’s always interesting to see what people listen to, as a adamant Spotify disliker and Apple Music enthusiast I am left with their version, which has become better over the years, but meh, I am not too impressed. And I enjoy Apple Music, but their weird thing with changing Versions of Songs in Playlists and apparently the way they count plays (at least this year seems way off), but well… here are a couple of my slides… stats… very very weird numbers…

Stay safe out there, be kind, to others, to yourself.
T.

Also here you can find my friends post of this week with whom?(!?!?) I entered into this weekly arrangement. It will be updated as they link their posts. Some are in German btw.
