Fifty one, fifty one, one more and were done!
Well at least for this year.
Still here in Bangkok, taking it more chill than in the beginning. I somehow had this thing in my mind that I need to shoot constantly and so on, but I really need to relax and that’s been great to be honest. Only annoying thing on that front is that two rolls of the Washi X Film I brought for this trip kinda fizzled on me… Well at least the first one for sure, the second one I am kinda not sure if I messed up loading it, or what… but I ended up putting a Roll of Cinestill 400D in there… Haven’t shot a ton with it though and we are getting to the end of our trip. It is what it is though. Stuff like this happens.
Talking about stuff that happens, there is quite a lot of stormy weather in Germany and Europe as it seems and I am very happy our friend Dominik is staying at our place as we had a little situation going on at one night, that needed a bit of tending to, nothing crazy luckily, but still better than coming back and being surprised by it. Another friend of mine was not that lucky as it seems and had his whole Studio destroyed. Luckily no bodily harm, but still a fucked up situation. Stay safe our there friends.
For the Photo Post of this week is a continuation of my Bangkok Travel Log, as mentioned before.
We actually watched a little bit of something in the evenings. We hopped into the Beckham Docu Series. I am not a Football fan or even slightly interested in it. Not even World-cups interest me anymore. I used to, but never was a big fan. Funny enough I always enjoyed playing Fifa with friends back in the day though… ah well. I digress, I had seen a snipped form the Docu Series that was quite entertaining so we decided to jump in and it was very entertaining and humanising. A very likeable couple to be honest, did not expect that in that degree.
We also watched the quite short, yet amusing and holiday spirited “Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas” on Apple TV+ which led us into the latest Season of Ted Lasso, which we had not started yet.
Pottery is still on hiatus.
What else what else… oh yeah, one of the things that is very cool to see, that is not that common to see, how kind Thai people are to animals. Street cats and dogs and so on. Those animals also are so chill like I have never seen before. Chillin’, sleeping anywhere and everywhere and not being constantly scared away or so. Really beautiful to see.
It is Christmas, (not the biggest fan of Christmas either if you couldn’t tell) if you celebrate in any shape or form and if not and all that I wish you some beautiful days, in these somber days with so much unnecessary conflict and hate everywhere I really wish for safety, food, shelter and love for everyone. We really need to change how shit is going down…
