The Weakly number fifty five.
Welcome friends, foes and people with ugly toes.
It is still cold eh?! We even had snow in Cologne for a couple of days, which is always nice as Cologne and the surrounding area normally is a tad too warm nowadays to get snow that actually stays and does not turn into some grey sludge right away. And people who know me, know that I really do not care about the cold or winter in general, but a good snowy day is nice thing every now and then.
As for the Photo Post this week we go back to Bangkok as I am also still trying to figure out how and what to do with my Cologne Walks Posts. And I certainly miss the warm, humid Bangkok weather…

I tried something new this week, as I wanted to watch more movies this year, just to have a bit of a feeling of being able to catch up somehow with the immense backlog. So I started watching a movie a day while I was working on something like esiting photos or so. Something that does not need all my brain power. I normally have something going anyway. A Podcast, a Stream or a Video. Sometime a Podcast and some Music… I know I know… And honestly this was one of the best little changes this year so far. Only the fact that I keep pondering what to actually watch is a bit of a timesink, but my girlfriend and I watch most things together and our taste is very similar. I might have to make myself a little watch-list just for that.
So let us start with the Movies this week. Blame! An Anime I had on my list for years now and it did not disappoint. Somehow reminded me a bit of the Show Knights of Sidonia. On we go with The Pez Outlaw. A heartwarming, fun Documentary you might wanna check out. Sly was next on the list, a Documentary about Silvester Stallone and good, but nothing new or surprising if you know about his life from other stuff. And finally with two newer Netflix releases I was looking forward to Rustin and Nyad. Two Films about two extraordinary people, I can only recommend watching both honestly. Got a couple Episodes of Fargo in which keeps on rocking and I can already see the end is going to be mad. One thing I am very unsure about is… do we start with True Detective S5 already or do we wait until all the Episodes are out, but after watching Jodie Foster in Nyad I might need more Jodie Foster in my media consumption.
Ha! First Pottery session of the year and of course I did not take any photos, but at least I did not do anything super exciting this week, but got started on a fun little incense stick holder… well for the sticks and cones actually. I will take some photos tomorrow. Also I did pick up some of the stuff I finished last year, but not all was fired yet, so we will do a roundup when all are finished.
Talking about finished, I also finished The Maid this week, which was fun, weird, heartfelt, but now I have to decide what book to start with next…
I did do a little laser project for a friend of mine, which was a very good push and excuse to get everything up and running which also led me to go out and get myself some leather left over pieces from a design store her ein Cologne. Not really easy to find leftovers and cut offs to test stuff with these days. This week I will for sure try and do some fun little project on the laser and I also do need to get some thin hard- and plywood for it. On top of that I need to get my 3D Printers running and dialled in again, as I need a couple of my small frames, but also some new thumb-rests for my Fuji X100V. The exciting part there is that I finally got myself some ABS like Resin instead of the regular stuff, which should help a lot with the durability of small parts like that.
