Happy Easter if that matters to you, or just happy long weekend or something. How is everyone doing this glorious and slightly spring like week?!
I mean… I am sitting here, it is after noon and I have the windows open a warm breeze is going through our place… I’ll take it.
A good busy week with a nice little job in between, lots of prep for an upcoming production and some stuff I am working on for my store and so on. The back and forth weather-wise also took a bit of a toll on me after shooting outside all day, but luckily its more of a man-flu/cold situation thats getting a lot better now.
As promised last week I did post of the first photos I did with my X100VI. Nothing wild, but I like keep on doing these kind of simple and banal walking around town thingies with my camera. I think it actually helps a little creatively, even-though most of these are not anything special, but they really do not have to be.

And as promised another week and another video from yours truly. As I keep writing where-ever I post this video, I am trying to just get stuff out the door now. Shoot, edit and post. So it is not perfect, this one did not even have a script and you can obviously see by the response or lack of or analytics etc. how its going, but I am happy I made it. I will keep making and keep trying to get better at it. Check it out, lemme know whatcha think about the topic, if you have an opinion. Busy weeks result in less shows and movies watched, but I did start and finish the Netflix Avatar - The Last Airbender Live Action Show. I am a fan and enjoyed the heck out of the animated show when I watched it way back when and enjoyed this interpretation. I know there is/was some controversy or something with dumbass fans again… I don’t care. And if you haven’t watched either and are wondering with what you should start… animated or live action… I am not really sure, as the animated one is quite a commitment, but still you could to the first season and then compare. Either way, both are great.
Another great show I watched this week and most of it last night was Nat Geos Photographers on Disney+. Just click the link and choose your country.
Movie wise we did watch the two part Steve Martin Documentary STEVE! on Apple TV+. An absolute joy to watch.
We also finished the The Great Pottery Throwdown season finally. A good season, again.
Did not really game much of anything as far as I can remember. Pottery is off for a little bit, with the Easter holidays and my work trip and all that.
One thing I have been doing a lot as well this week was 3D printing. Unfortunately I cannot show you a lot besides these teasers I posted in my IG stories, but yes, this is also a shameless plug as I will post the reveal on my Patreon. DID YOU KNOW THOUGH!!! Oh and before I forget I started testing my film scanning setup. Since my flatbed scanner died again and all that I started buying some gear here and there, from the Valoi gear I got, to the copy stand and the Macro lens and adapter. Still needs some refining as the old Nikon Macro Lens on the Canon Mirrorless has not the close distance focusing range I was hoping for, but… we’ll get there. The first couple tests were actually very satisfying and it is so much quicker than using the flatbed scanner.
